Today we enjoyed another day out - to the zoo.

Wei Wei slept through some of it but woke up to see an entertaining Asiatic Bear who was more active than Mr. Panda.

All of the families are getting stir-crazy and are really just ready to leave. Most of us are enjoying China, it's just that we've been apart from family for just over a week now and we are just WAITING...
The zoo was a nice diversion to get our minds off things. And we learned there is a such thing as a Chinese Tiger Frog!
One little girl, Lydia, has to get five shots tomorrow due to Hague Convention rules that we were grandfathered from. We are not sure of the potency of any of the immunizations the girls have received so they may all (including Lydia) have to get all shots over again.
Lydia has had a very dificult adjustment so far - probably more difficult than most. So, what would be a tough day for most kids will be outright traumatic for her. Say a prayer for little Lydia and her mom and dad.
Wei Wei has a sniffle but otherwise is doing well. She enjoyed hearing her brothers over the computer today when we SKYPEd with them. She was blowing raspberries and her brothers took great delight in doing the same back. It was a great visit.
Oh yeah check out todays crowd outside the "McDonalds square." I'm still amazed at the number of people that are constantly packed on the streets. We took this from the McDonalds on the other side of the square - two two-story MCDs on the same square and they are both packed!

Good night from Guangzhou,
