"We are going to China today"

I keep saying and thinking those words but it still seems unreal.

We are not packed but do have most everything piled in Miriam's room with our suitcases. We can't seem to get a straight answer from British Air on what our baggage allowance is (airline has been wonderful to work with but this is confusing because we have so many different legs on the trip) so I think we will just take one BIG one each and just be prepared to pay any overweight charges on our way home.

The boys have left for school so I'm sitting here having a quiet coffee...before the storm of things to do.

There is a glimmer of sun peeking through the Belgian clouds this morning - a somewhat rare treat.

In less than 72 hours we will be holding her.

My next blog will hopefully be from the airport!

all the best,
us

  1. Rob and Lisa,
You could be considered to be very lucky, but I also think you deserve it too. You are a fantastic couple, with 3 great boys that are a credit to you both. Your daughter could not have hoped for a better family. Best of luck...
